It’s that time of year again. The Student Transportation Unit has sent verification lists to schools to confirm services for the next school year. If your transportation needs change for next year (you move, using a caregiver, enrolled in a new program, decide not to use the service, want to use transportation etc.), please let the school know as soon as possible. It is important that we get that information in a timely manner, so our planning unit has time to make adjustments to routes and to minimize changes for September.
Did you know that historically we receive 60% of changes in September after the bus routes are already set up! This simply means that the bus routes are constantly changing in September, and families do not get that consistency of service we hope to provide. Please help us ensure a smoother start to the school year by confirming your child’s transportation details with the school as soon as possible.
