As we approach the end of the school year, many students and families are looking forward to the summer. Transportation staff are already gearing up to get routes ready for those students who are participating in summer school as well as planning for September.
We hope that all parents have contacted their local schools and confirmed their transportation arrangements with school staff. Summer school and information for next September should be confirmed by the end of May with your local school. This ensures that transportation staff have sufficient time to process and plan any changes in the system. Unfortunately, 60% of changes are received in September which means bus routes are changing significantly at that time. Confirming your information or advising the school of any changes before the end of the school year allows us to ensure bus routes run much smoother in September.
If you haven’t updated the school, they open a week before school starts. Please contact them as soon as possible so that we can get your transportation service setup. To confirm your transportation arrangements we will open up the transportation portal https://busplannerweb.torontoschoolbus.org/ in mid August so you can confirm if the transportation details for September are accurate.
